These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern every order between Jajalan Guides Sdn. Bhd. ("Jajalan Guides", "we", "us", "our") and any individual or company that purchases from us ("Client", "you"). By completing an order or paying for goods, you accept these Terms in full.
Jajalan Guides Sdn. Bhd. is based in Malaysia. The shop focuses on the online sale of travel guide ebooks, city guides, itinerary PDFs, map guides, self-guided walking tours, photography location guides, cultural guides, downloadable travel planners and paid digital recommendations.
We supply downloadable travel guides and recommendations. The specific scope for any order, including SKU and price, is defined at checkout, and these Terms apply in addition to, not instead of, any terms stated on the product listing.
An order is confirmed once you have completed checkout and payment has cleared. Files are delivered only after payment verification described in our Delivery Policy.
All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) per guide unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer and such other methods as we may notify from time to time. Files will not be delivered until the applicable payment has cleared into our account.
Purchase of a guide grants the Client a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the guide for the Client's own personal trip planning. Ownership of the underlying content, including all copyright, remains with Jajalan Guides at all times.
Unless expressly permitted in writing, the Client may not: resell, redistribute or publicly share a guide, in whole or in part; upload a guide to a website, forum or file-sharing service; or represent guide content as their own original work.
Our guides reflect research and personal experience current as of their stated publish date and are provided for general trip-planning purposes only. They do not constitute professional travel, safety, medical, visa or legal advice. The Client is responsible for verifying critical information — including opening hours, entry requirements, safety conditions and prices — with official or local sources before and during travel.
All products are delivered electronically by download link sent to your email. Our full delivery arrangements, including timeframes and what happens if a file is undelivered, are set out separately in our Delivery Policy.
All guide content, including text, maps, photography and layout, is the intellectual property of Jajalan Guides unless otherwise credited on the listing.
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Jajalan Guides' total liability arising out of or in connection with any order, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, is limited to the total value paid by the Client for that order. We are not liable for any loss, cost or inconvenience arising from reliance on guide content during actual travel, including changes to opening hours, prices, availability or safety conditions at a destination after the guide's publish date. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund only before a download link has been generated and delivered; see our Refund Policy for what qualifies for a refund after delivery.
Jajalan Guides is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or email service disruption, or government restrictions. Affected timelines will be extended by a period reasonably necessary to address the disruption, and we will keep the Client informed of material developments.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or any order placed with Jajalan Guides, without prejudice to either party's right to seek interim relief in any jurisdiction where necessary to protect its interests.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The version published on this page at the time an order is confirmed applies to that order. We encourage Clients to review this page periodically.
